android-5.1.1 build takes much time for imgdiff

when I build android 5.1 system image for imx6qdl-sabresd platfom, it blocked in  :

append2simg out/target/product/sabresd_6dq/obj/PACKAGING/systemimage_intermediates/system.img /tmp/tmpG_S8xZ_verity_images/verity.img

I use top to find imgdiff takes too much time, but not finished it? why?  because I found it take 2 hours to run imgdiff command ?

Hello Liang Yan,

Are you using the L5.1.1_2.1.0 BSP for i.MX6? If the build is getting an error please provide the error log. If it’s just halting, how long is it in that state? The Android build may take several hours depending on your host resources, it could be a problem with not enough RAM for example.

As for running imgdiff, are you running it on a finished image?
