Hi
Does it oscillate when power is supplied to i.MX6ULL without writing a register?
Will oscillation stop if 3.3V is supplied to NVCC_PLL?

Hi,
see below, please!
Need to add a decoupling capacitor and a storage capacitor. Because this is the output of a power supply.

Hi,
>>Does it oscillate when power is supplied to i.MX6ULL without writing a register?
yes, it does.
No need for customer's software configuration, 24MHz can start the oscillation by itself.
>>Will oscillation stop if 3.3V is supplied to NVCC_PLL?
Yes, it will be possible.
NVCC_PLL is the output of the internal LDO_1P1, which supplies power to the internal PLL. If you connect 3.3V to this pin, the internal PLL will not work properly and may even damage the CPU. This is not allowed! It is entirely possible to cause the 24MHz crystal circuit to not work.
Have a nice day!

Hi ,NXP TechSupport
What if I don't connect a capacitor?
What is the role of capacitors?
