Video Capture Latency I.MX6_MAX

Hi All

 We are trying to capture video over nitrogen_6max board. We are using ov5640 camera module and OS as Android Kitkat.

- With the setup as explained above, we are getting capture video latency of about 150ms. We need to reduce this latency to 30ms. Our commercial production is at stake.

Can you guys help me where to debug onto, is the latency due to Android Framework or HAL or ov5640 camera driver.

Since the camera architecture is huge, we are unable to pin point on the particular section..

Your help is highly appreciated.

Thank you for replying.

Actually we are using 2 nitrogen6_max board. 1 as miracast source and another as miracast sink.

We are not using software decoder.

Hence the link that you suggested would not be of help for us. If you could guide us more on hardware decoder/encoder or miracast source/sink would be great.

Our production is at stake. Requesting a help on urgent basis.
