Unable to flash emmc on imx6ull EVK

Hi NXP Team,

I am trying to flash the emmc on the imx6ull EVK board using UUU tool, but I am not able to do so. I have taken the prebuilt images from the NXP website (LF_v6.1.22-2.0.0_images_IMX6UL7D.zip). I am using Ubuntu 18.04.

The command I am using to flash is:

 $ sudo ./uuu -v uuu.auto-imx6ull14x14evk

I am using the auto script provided in the above-mentioned zip package.

Here are the console logs of the EVK.

Any suggestion to solve the issue will be very helpful!

Are you putting the board on download mode?

Try to unzip the file and put this command:

Uuu -b emmc_all iu-boot-imx6ull14x14evk_emmc.imx imx-image-full-imx6ul7d.wic

Notes:

use sudo if you are using Linux

Run as administrator PowerShell if you are using Windows

I have kept the board in serial download mode. I have made the switch settings for SW601 as OFF, ON, ON, OFF and SW602 as OFF, ON (referred the following screenshots from i.MX6ULL EVK Board Hardware User Guide.)

Yes, I am using the sudo command. I did try the command you gave, the same result.

Hi @meetalipatel!

The iMX6ull evk by default doesn't have emmc soldered.

Have you soldered the necessary components to use the emmc in imx6ull evk?

I am not aware of this. Can you please give me more details on what hardware changes needs to be done?
