Two camera input on i.MX RT1170

Hi,

I want to show 2 camera view on panel same time. The concept as below :

And I found the this picture as below :

So...maybe i.MX RT1170 can't support 2 camera input as same time? Or it is possible but MCU must high speed switch VIDEO_MUX?

Hi @scarletlee ,

   Your understanding is correct!

   When you use two camera, even one connect to MIPI-CSI, another connect to the parallel CSI module, you still can't work it at the same time. As you see,  MIPI-CSI and parrallel CSI at last connect to the CSI module, so you can't make the two camea input at the same time.

   So, another solution is use the flexIO connect the second camera.
