Hi,
I recently bought MCIMX6UL-EVKB . An sdcard image (L4.19.35_1.1.0_MX6UL7D) can be downloaded from NXP and burned to the SD card and it works OK.
However my purpose is to build u-boot, Linux Kernel, optee from source. I have came across few sites explaining how to do it but I could not succeed in getting it running. They all lack a complete instructions perhaps assuming it is already known. I mainly followed this. However since I am a beginner I can not succeed in getting it running.
I compiled u-boot with:
make ARCH=arm mx6ul_14x14_evk_optee_defconfig
I formatted the sdcard. I burnt the image to the sd card.
I compiled Linux with:
make ARCH=arm imx_v7_defconfig
I compiled optee-os which outputs tee.bin which is converted to another binary with some commands.
I am not sure whether to copy this to the sdcard or not.
I have no idea what to write to the rootfs partition of the sdcard.
The device boots but fails to boot properly while the console says
Internal error: Oops - bad mode: 0 [#1] PREEMPT SMP ARM
I have spent quite a time trying to succeed. I understand there are quite a lot of resources on the internet but I can say that the ones I could reach are not very helpful. My actual question is: are there any complete tutorial explaining step by step for beginners how to build Linux with optee on imx6ul-evkb?
Regards
OP-TEE OS is required on the boot partition with the TEE file for OP-TEE enablement
