Hi,
The iMX6SLL Data Sheet (https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/data-sheet/IMX6SLLCEC.pdf) clearly states, that iMX6SLL supports BOTH LPDDR2 and LPDDR3. We have bought a huge branch of iMX6SLL (MCIMX6V7DVN10AB) to use in our Yocto project.
However, now I cannot find the full support of LPDDR2 in BSP. In particular, for the deep sleep.
Could somebody clarify the situation?
Thanks
Hi dR
seems one can reuse i.MX6SL EVK software (lpddr2 based design) as
i.MX6SLL is pin-to-pin compatible with i.MX6SL, according to AN11988
"i.MX6SLL Migration Guide, Migrating from i.MX6SL to i.MX6SLL "
https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN11988.pdf
also one can look on linux/arch/arm/boot/dts/imx6sll-lpddr2-arm2.dts
imx6sll-lpddr2-arm2.dts\dts\boot\arm\arch - linux-imx - i.MX Linux kernel
linux/arch/arm/mach-imx/suspend-imx6.S
suspend-imx6.S\mach-imx\arm\arch - linux-imx - i.MX Linux kernel
Linux documentation (Linux Manual, "Low Level Power Management (PM)")
Best regards
igor
