How to Program NOR Flash with JTAG

I want to know how to program NOR Flash with JTAG.

Hi Sam

If you are referring to programming NOR flash on an

iMX based board via JTAG, you would need a JTAG

probe with flash programming capabilities.

I am using BDI3000 JTAG debugger and I am able to

program NOR flash on iMX based boards. If you

need more info on BDI3000, please let me know.

could u tell me more about BDI3000 JTAG . i want to install RT Linux on NOR Flash so please tell me how can i do this.

Here is the manual for BDI3000 that has more info :

If you have a custom board you will need to modify the config

file accordingly.

programming NOR Flash with JTAG is not supported on i.MX

processors.
