Hi,

I'm working with Custom designed iMX6 SOC based board. In that all the pins in GPIO section behaves always low.

even if trying to drive it high, it outputs 0.3 to 0.5V. but GPIO power rail is 3.3V.

Could anyone address what could be the issue..whether IC hardware failure..if so what cases it can happen..

thanks in advance.

Regards,

Santhakumar.

Hello,

Please check Your design, using recommendations of Chapter 8 (Avoiding Board

Bring-up Problems) of "Hardware Development Guide for i.MX 6Quad,6Dual, 6DualLite,
6Solo Families"

http://cache.freescale.com/files/32bit/doc/user_guide/IMX6DQ6SDLHDG.pdf

Also You may use the next "HW Design Checklist for i.MX6" to check the schematic themselves :

HW Design Checking List for i.MX6DQSDL

The following thread contains simple (LED) example in attachment,

that may be used as a GPIO test.

Have a great day,
Yuri
