Dear Sir,

I have Imx6qsabresd(evaluation board which is purchased from the freescale ).I download the Android lolipop prebuilt image from freescale(L5.0.0_1.0.0-ga).which is running on my board.

but i couldnt find out camera in the OS. i connect camera on my board. from the release note i can understand that this prebuilt image support camera.

what is the problem in it why i cant find out the camera in there.

if OS support camera feature means i can see camera icon on my display .

please help me to solve this issue.

i could n't find out camera app in that OS image..

Do you mean you can see other apps (such as clock, calculator) but no camera apps?

do you see the camera is up in logcat?

hai I here by attach the camera log

i found that in camera log

ov5640_read_reg:write reg error:reg=300a

camera ov5640 is not found

ov5642_read_reg:write reg error:reg=300a

camera ov5642 is not found

camera ov5640_mipi is found

The error is showing the driver try to read the camera ID from the ov5640 register.

Seems the camera is not attached well on the sabresd board. So the driver cannot read the camera ID via I2C.

could u have any document to how to connect the camera device to board.

And let me know due to the avaliblity of camera device the camera.apk is not found

In the page 8, connector J9 is for ov5642, and connector J5 is for ov5640 mipi.

And I attached a picture for you that the SabreSD board is connecting two cameras.

is is possible to check the port is working by checking pin voltage.

because i connected the camera like you telling but it not working .

i didnt find out camera apk  in my android Os but in the conatcts i selected add photo by using camera that time i get a msg like camera has stopped it working

let me know what is the issue

If camera is not connected than above log appears.

If you are using SABRESDP board than camera will be detected.

What is output of "pm list packages "?

I can seen other apps like calculator,calender,voice etc. but no camera apps

what should i do
