Dear All,
Hello.
I have a question about I/O direction of LVDS signals in i.MX6DQ.
Refer to Table 100. 21 x 21 mm Functional Contact Assignments in IMX6DQAEC(Rev.4).
The direction of LVDS signals was all input.
And, I couldn't find the register of direction setting in Reference Manual.
I consider that LVDS signals only use as output.
[Question]
Where does it change the direction from input to output in U-boot?
Best Regards,
Keita
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi Keita
you are right, in i.MX6 LDB LVDS signals only used as output,
setting register LDB_CTRL, field ch0,1_mode[1:0] to "channel enabled"
will enable to output data signal.
Best regards

Dear Igor,
Sorry. I have an additional question.
During reset period, is the direction of LVDS signals the output?
Best Regards,
Keita
Hi Keita
yes, during reset period the direction of LVDS signals is also output.

This is just a typo in the table, all of the LVDS signals are analog differential pairs type.
Have a great day,
Artur

Hi Artur,
Thank you for your reply.
Let me clarify my understanding.
- All LVDS signals are always output.
- "Keeper" is typo. And, no pull-up,down.
Is it OK?
Best Regards,
Keita
Yes, you are right.
Best Regards,
Artur
Hi Artur,
Thank you very much!
I hope the Data sheet and Reference manual fix the typo in the next update.
