4GB lpddr4 RAM working with iMX8MQ

Hi,

We going to design our custom board using iMX8MQ.

And we will use micron lpddr4 RAM which part number is "MT53D1024M32D4DT-053 AIT:D"

As I found one communication on the community at below link.

u-boot fails to boot with 4GB RAM on i.MX8mq 

So I just want to confirm there is any issue with 4GB lpddr4 RAM with the iMX8MQ processor? If possible, so can I use that part and able to use 4GB RAM?

What should we do on Android OS?

Hi Nirmal

linux memory size is controlled by u-boot in i.MX8M software. One can try
attached u-boot patch. For new board recommended to follow Chapter 4 How to bring up a

new MX8M board MX8M_DDR_Tool_User_Guide document included in ddr test package.
