Dear NXP Team,
I would like to connect the PPS output of GNSS module to iMX8MP but I wonder if it should be a generic GPIO or a specific GPIO like in the following discussion : https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-Processors/how-to-config-1PPS-on-imx8qxp/m-p/1050249
We plan to use the below :
+ pinctrl_gnsspps: gnsspps_grp {
+ fsl,pins = <
+ MX8MP_IOMUXC_SAI3_RXD__GPIO4_IO30 0x19
+ >;
+ };
Is our configuration correct ?
Best Regards,
Khang

Hi @joanxie ,
Thanks for the link but it seems that I was not clear in my use-case : I would like to capture the 1PPS input signal from a GPS/GNSS module rather than to generate the 1PPS output signal.
I found the similar use-case : https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-Processors/i-MX6s-dl-input-PPS-to-FEC-for-PTP-Grand-master-ENET-15...
or this : https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-Processors/Ntpd-gpsd-GPS-PPS/m-p/773608
