MKW24D512 PCB antenna versus SMA Connector

Are there any available sources where for the MKW24D512 pcb meander antenna performance is compared an off the shelf sma antenna? Does anyone have any experience with both use cases?

Please find below several links that covers 2.4GHz compact antenna design considerations. I didn't find out a document that exclusively treats the performance and characteristics of SMA antenna vs. meander antenna, but I am pretty much sure that you will find enough information below so you can make the right choice for your design.
