Hi There,
I have obtained Labtool but it is unclear on what needs to be running on the iMX8M Linux host system for Labtool to connect to.
I am assuming there is some application that needs to be cross compiled for the particular hardware/software configuration of the EVB noted above for Labtool to connect to?...
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Anthony
Has anyone followed up on this issue we got the same result
Hi Shaun,
Thank you very much for your response. Yes, I have reviewed this document. This document does a very good job of documenting what needs to be done when a bridge PC is being used but in our case the DUT is a "88W997 System"
Our host processor which is part of the 88W997 System is an iMX8M running Linux.
What needs to be running on our host and is there documentation for setting up our host? Should we consider our iMX8M as the bridge and follow bridge PC instructions?... I am not sure if this is possible, I will speak with embedded programmers internally.
Any help and assistance is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Anthony
Hello @amaggs
You are right. Please run mfg_bridge on i.mx platform, run Labtool on host PC. Host PC and i.mx platform should under same subnet.
Hi Shaun,
We were able to port mfgbridge to run on iMX8M. We are also able to run Labtool and it seems to be communicating with mfgbridge app. However, I cannot get any TX output when I run "802.11n Test Sequences - 5.2.4.1 Tx on Selected Path, 2.4 GHz, 20 MHz Bandwidth, MCS7 Data Rate" from Labtool user guide.
Please see Labtool commands and responses below.
Thanks,
Anthony
