IW416 long time throughput performance down, disable enable_tcp_ack_enh to improve

Customer found after long time throughput speed monitoring,
performance down as below:

uptime	bandwidth (Mbps)
5:21	26.7
5:44	23
12:32	15
13:19	12.4

Customer found after modify driver enable_tcp_ack_enh to force disable, can get improvement.

They wants to know
1. In Wifi driver, what's the purpose for enhance tcp ack?
2. any side effect if do disable enable_tcp_ack_enh?

1. In Wifi driver, what's the purpose for enhance tcp ack?

tcp ack enhance will drop some TCP ACK packet and only transmit the last one.

2. any side effect if do disable enable_tcp_ack_enh?

No any effect. every tcp ack will be transmitted by wifi chip

So no problem to enable or disable it.
