Unable to configure CodeWarrior Floating License on one of the Windows 7 Laptop

Hi,

We have recently got the floating licenses for CodeWarrior. These Licenses are placed in a server and we are configuring clients(Windows 7 and 8 machines) to use this license.

I have created required windows environment variable name and value. This process works for many Windows 7 and 8 machines but on one windows 7 Laptop it does not work.

Did anyone seen this kind of issue in the past and found solution?

LM_NOTHISHOST

This error The hostid of this system does not match the hostid specified in the license file, It will be good to see the log file located in LMTools.exe utility , check the log file on the path specified

If you are using multiple clients, sometime check in does not occur right away this might be a root cause.

Share the license server heather

Review if you have added the license file on both side, the application for example

On C:\Freescale\CW MCU v10.6\MCU

And also on the location specified on the license manager

If you are using the same station as client and server, make sure you use the correct client name and the Ethernet MAC address or Disk Serial

I expect to see something similar on your license.dat
