Hello,

I use your FS6500 on my project, for the metrics of your components in my safety analysis I used your FMEDA but I need your support for 2 point:

  • I need to konw the confidence level of your FMEDA
  • I need to rescaling the result of the FMEDA on my mission profile and I don't understand how it is possible in your FMEDA, can you help us? (the actual FMEDA for FS6500 is at 26°C and it is not in line with my project)

thanks

Hello,

the FS6500 FMEDA has been reviewed, and also confirmed during a confirmation review of safety analysis. The confidence is then high.

You're right, we have assumed a mission profile for the failure rate. There is no possibility to update the FMEDA customer version for a different profile. In this case you need to contact Customer support to get a new evaluation of the failure rate based on your profile followed by the FMEDA update.

It is to be noted, that even with a different failure rate the hardware architectural metrics SPFM and LFM will be the same, only the PMHF will be impacted.

thank you

Best regards
