DOES S32K11X SUPPORT FLEXBUS FOR EXTERNAL MEMORY LIKE MRAM?

Here Is A Problem With S32K11X M0 MCU For My Project. Some Of The Design Use Case Of My Project Might Need More Memory Then On-Chip RAM. So We're Considering To Apply External Memory Like F-RAM / M-RAM / S-RAM. In Kinetis K60 MCU Application Note Here We Find Flexbus Interface Applied To Link External Memory. And We Would Like To Use Similar Function For Memory Extension. Can We? For Example Using FlexIO? Are There Some Limits For Memory Size Extension?

Hi,

there's no support for external memories on S32K11x. There's no FlexBus module like on K60. FlexIO is also not suitable for this purpose.

Only S32K148 has QSPI module which can be used to connect external memories.

In case of S32K11x devices, an option is to use SPI memory but I guess the speed won't be sufficient for you...
