This issue is probably caused by a faulty installation. Could you confirm the RTD package is installed correctly? Try importing the Qspi example firstly:

As you mentioned due to the pad type support RMII + QPSI is not possible for S32K344 devices. It is the same as it is not related to the package. You can look at the tab in the "S32K344_IOMUX.xlsx", where the ethernet use cases are listed:
