We would appreciate if you could read the following and give us some advice.
①
Operating environment
IDE: MCUXpresso IDE v11.1.0
SDK: SDK_2.x_MK64FN1Moxxx12
SDK_2.x_RapidIoT_MK64F12
SDK_2.x_RapidIoT_MKW41Z4
device: Rapid IoT
Hexiwer Docking Station
Method
Use Debug function from MCUXpresso IDE,
Write the sample project "frdmk64f_power_mode_switch" for frdmk64f to Rapid IoT.
* This Rapid IoT has been confirmed to work with the rapid iot k64f sample project "rapid iot_k64f_hello_world"
phenomenon
・ Starts up, but stops with the LED on the KW41Z side lit. The LED on the MK64F side does not light.
-It is possible to reset the power supply of the device, but the functions for returning to the factory default do not work.
-Even if the device and the PC are connected by USB, it is not recognized as a drive and cannot be written in binary.
・ Even if you write a Rapid IoT project with the debug function
Main processing does not start. (Is it skipped to an abnormal memory address?)
If the project was written by mistake, Main processing will start.
I also tried the following, but I could not solve it, so I would like to ask for advice.
In the procedure in the community (https://community.nxp.com/thread/502525), the boot loader was rewritten with reference to the procedure described in the User's Guide (4.1.5.2).
However, it could not be completed due to a compilation error.
procedure
1: Download Rapid IoT SDK (SLN-RPK-NODE-SDK.zip) from NXP official HP
2: Import the kboot folder on the MK64F12 side from the unzipped SDK to the IDE as projects
3: When executing Build, the following compile error occurs
Do you have any solution or advice?
Hi, I hope you're doing well!
Currently, the development tools for RapidIOT are in the process of being fully migrated to the online atmosphereiot.com IoT IDE.
Unfortunately, development for the RapidIOT platform from MCUXpresso is limited to importing projects exported from Atmosphere Studio, I'm sorry for the inconveniences this may cause.
The example projects have also been migrated to Atmosphere Studio, and can be found by searching for NXP Rapid IoT on the Demo Projects page.
Please let me know if you need any more information.
Best regards,
Sebastian
Hi Sebastian
Thank you for your advice this time.
I understand that currently MCUXpresso can only use those exported from Atomosphere IoT Stduio.
Register at Atomosphere IoT Stduio and try once.
It was helpful.
Thank you for your continued support.
