I use P4080DS and XAUI-Riser-B Card.
In u-boot, the XAUI-Riser-B Card is be recognized, but is failed to link another network card.
In Operation system, if we use "ifconfig" command to set the ip of this card, it will lead the kernel crash.

So some one could give me the right and complete using way of this XAUI-Riser-B Card in P4080DS, thanks.

Please provide U-Boot and Linux logs including the kernel crash.

Into which slot the riser card is installed?

Hello,

I used other two (we bough three XAUI-Riser-B Cards at all) XAUI-Riser-B Cards. They could ping success in u-boot. So we guess the first card is bad.

However there are still some problem when using the other two cards.

These two cards will report  some initialization errors, following are the picture.

And, in u-boot, we could not use RJ45 port to success ping other PC(another port is doing well in u-boot ).

So I suspect that the u-boot and Linux version of P4080DS is not match with XAUI-Riser-B Cards. Please tell me the right version of u-boot and Linux to match with XAUI-Riser-B Cards.  Following are the current version of u-boot and linux.

Please provide all logs as Word text files or PDFs with comments.

Check positions of the on-board switches.
