DDR4 SODIMM, ECC with T1022

Hello,

I am currently using VLP DDR4 UDIMM with ECC in my design based on T1022 processor.

Due to some constraints, I want to shift to SO-DIMM.

Do T1022 works fine with DDR4 SO-DIMM with ECC feature? 

Is there any changes required from software side?

Or my new hardware will work fine with old software?

SODIMM is a DDR SDRAM module which differs from UDIMM by its mechanical parameters.

Assuming that new module speed grade and number of ranks will be identical to current ones there will be no need to modify firmware.
