Dear all.
I have a question to ask about the MC33HB2000 about fault detection.
1. test setup
-. Used as H-bridge mode & Parallel mode with Vpwr 12V.
-. Set the initial SPI default value and run after Out 1 & out 2 short.
2. Read motor driver status value
-. case 1) 0x2001
-. case 2) 0x2194
Question)
As a result of repeatedly checking the motor status value under the same conditions,
different fault value appears, and we inquire about the reason.
Thanks.
Hi
How to understand about OUT1&OUT2 short? they are short together?
What's the register setting of Fault status mask register?
Or what about work normally then short OUT1/OUT2 to read fault register normal or not?
Thank you response.
OUT1 & OUT2 are connected by wire, not by motor
Fault status mask is default setting.
The same register is while the motor is running, 0x2001 occurs frequently in the reverse direction,
and 0x2194 occurs frequently inthe forward direction.
Thanks.
Thank you for your response.
When OUT1 and OUT2 are set to short and operate at normal temperature, OT occurs immediately, and the Tj of the device does not exceed OT.
Does it mean that OT shutdown does not correlate with Tj temperature?
Thanks
If so please suggest customer to do same test in NXP evb KIT to eliminate hardware issue.
