P2041 erratum A-004580

The P2041 rev H errata document states that erratum A-004580 applies to the P2041 processor.

The latest QorIQ 2.0-1703 SDK includes the following u-boot patch, powerpc/85xx: implement check for erratum A-004580 work-around · u-boot/u-boot@d607b96 · GitHub . However, that patch only applies to the P4080. The patch comments mention that the workaround is implemented in PBI, however none of the RCW files generated for the P2041 include the relevant PBI instructions.

My questions is, does erratum A-004580 still apply to the P2041? In this case, I assume I should implement the workaround in PBI.

Sorry for delayed response.

I've verified with device errata, A-004580 is still applicable for P2041 processor.

However, mentioned patch is only "check" for patch, it does not implement any errata workaround, but only checks is workaround is applied. The workaround itself should be implemented in PBI. Note P4080 and P2041 have different bank and lane configurations, so PBI patch for P4080 is not directly applicable for P2041.
