Hi
I need to run some kind of software on the P1010 in order for it to maximize the current draw and heat generated.
I have found some code written in assembly that works really well on the imx6 (it gets really hot), You can have an look at it here:
Is your ARM Cortex-A9 hot enough?
Do you guys know of any similar software that can run on a PPC CPU?
The stress test for the Cortex A9 uses neon instructions to maximize the power consumption, would it be
possible to do the same thing on a PPC CPU with the help of altivec instructions?
Best regards
Daniel
Hello Daniel Watson,
Is it possible for you to use Linux application to do CPU stress test? For example the package "stress".
Thanks,
Yiping
