I am using:
From the documentation, i should be able to read the tamper bit with:
Memory adress: Bank 01
Config Word , Bank adress: 200h Type: EPC, content: tamper alarm flag initial 0b[2] remark: indicator bit
However i am only able to read the following:
E2006B0700000000000000 , and nothing else. which doesn't look like a full EPC.
I tried passing it:
bit point (bit pointer in the software) =512 and lenght = 16
still i only got back that EPC, and nothing else.
Is there a problem with the chip? with the reader? the software?
Following on from Reader for SL3S1203_1213 , how do i acutally pass these instructions through the software?
I have also bought IMPINJ - Speedway R220 2-port, and IMPINJ SPEEDWAY CONNECT SOFTWARE, which should arrive in the next weeks. If the solution can be done with this software also this is great.
Hi Kan_Li since you updated the community and sent all the badge emails every NXP email went to spam ( just saw them 2 days ago) , this might have happend to other people too!
I don't have access to that reader right now as it is in another department. But my reader (Speedway R220) with the software is coming in the following weeks, i'll update this post once i have that running).
best,
Leo
Hello @leo94 ,
Thanks for the information! Please kindly let me know if the problem is still there.

Hi @Kan_Li ,
Have finally received the reader and installed, still having issues accesing the tamper bit:
Let me know what parameters I need to change to access the bit
Hi @leo94 ,
Thanks for the information!
From the screenshots , I would guess the reader expects the address in decimals here as it specifies “0 – 65535 bit in the brackets). Also, as with most readers it is more convenient to read the complete ConfigWord from the EPC memory and then “decode” this to get the value of the Tamper Alarm.
So, what I would advise here is to try and read the complete ConfigWord from the EPC memory with the according addresses, and the length of one word.
ConfigWord start address:
0x200h (bit address) == 0x20h (word address) == 32 (word address in dec)
Hope that helps,
Have a great day,
Kan

Hi @Kan_Li ,
Thanks, we are now able to read the bit using word offset==32 as you suggested,
However i still cannot get the whole EPC. Whilst using ItemTest i can only see the beginning digits, thus when i put 2 tags within the field, it only sees one.
Below you can see 2 tags i put within the field: A has been cut (open tamper) B was cut and then attached again with silver Paste (closed tamper). However with both in the field it only reads one unique EPC and thinks there is only one tag. Then when i read the 32nd word i get sometimes the word for A, and sometimes the word for B
Hi @leo94 ,
Actually UCODE supports multiple tags reading, but it also depends on if the reader supports multiple tags , please kindly check with the reader vendor for further help.
Thanks for your patience and understanding!
Have a great day,
Kan
