Hi community,
I am testing the CB on SJA1110 and modify the example "switch_config_s32g_vnp_rdb" for testing.
I follow the CB example in document, but using DPI to identify the stream.
If there is no redundancy between the talker and listener, they can ping without problems. as shown in the picture.
If there is redundancy between the talker and listener, they can ping, but the icmp_seq is not continuous and sometimes takes a long time to ping. as shown in the picture.
Is there some config I'm missing that causes these differences. The attachment is my switch configuration.
Thanks.
Ethan.
Hi @nxf92355 ,
I try to use QCI to limit the flow of broadcast storm frame. This seems to solve the problem.
I want to confirm the following,
1. Is it correct to use QCI to limit the flow of broadcast storm frames? Or is there any suggestion on avoiding broadcast storm?
2. In this CB example, whether I use QCI or not, the listener and talker cannot ping to SJA1110. Is this correct?
3. Are there more detailed usage documents and test reports about SJA1110 TSN?
Thanks,
Ethan.
Hi Ethan_L
Hope you are doing well.
There are not such docs on nxp site. you can use NXP support to submit ticket. you can follow the below link for support

Hi community,
I think the problem is because of broadcast storm, but can't find any information about this in TSN document.
Does NXP do any config on HOST or SJA1110 to avoid broadcast storm in CB example?
Or any advice on avoiding broadcast storm?
Thanks.
Ethan.
