MC33665 compatible with MC33771x

is the transceiver MC33665 compatible with MC33771B or only with MC33771C, MC33772C, and MC33775A?

Because of the TPL version, the MC33771B is not compatible.

The MC33665A is compatible with TPL2 (MC33771C, MC33772C) and TPL3 (MC33775A, MC33774A) BCCs only.

Thank you for using the NXP community.

I do recommend the following application note:

AN12626 - MC33771x/MC33772x transformer and wire guide on the TPL network

Both series are battery communication ICs with different features. If you need to work with the MC33771B, I highly recommend considering the MC33664 device.

I don´t unterstand why MC33664 is compatible with TPL1 and TPL2, but MC33665 is not compatible with TPL1?
