Hi pgo,
My USBDM information is as follow.
hardware:USBDM_SWD_SER_JS16CWJ_V2.0
firmware:USBDM_SWD_SER_JS16CWJ_V4
USBDM version:USBDM4.10.5
I use the BDM in win7-32bit.
First , I install the driver USBDM_Drivers_1_1_0_Win_x32.
Second I install the USBDM4.10.5.
But when I open HCS08programmer,someting wrong happened.
1, BDM can't be found
2,BDM firmware ver is 57.0.0
so,how can i resolve the question?
Hi Wang,
At a guess I would say that the firmware in the BDM doesn't match the version of USBDM you are using. There was a change in the numbering that can result in the strange result you see.
Try updating the firmware with the program provided with the version you are using.
bye
Hi pgo,
I don't update bdm firmware and just install the old driver .
my usbdm works well.
but your new driver don't make it to work.
I think the driver USBDM_Drivers_1_1_0_Win_x32 result in the result.and it can't work in win7.
Hi Wang,
I am aware of some driver issues with XP which is the reason there is a separate installer for XP. I don't know of any issues with the Windows 7 (either 32 or 64-bit).
I would appreciate if you could check if you have the same problem with the drivers just uploaded to SourceForge:
USBDM - Browse /Version 4.10.6/Software at SourceForge.net
bye
Hi pgo,
The new driver also can't work. The result is same as USBDM_Drivers_1_1_0_Win_x32
I open my device manager, and find some information as follow:
is it right?
Hi Wang,
I just did a fresh install on a machine with windows 7-32bit and then installed USBDM using:
USBDM_Drivers_1_2_0_Win_x32.msi
and it worked without any problems so its a bit hard to suggest anything.
I also tried the USBDM_Drivers_1_2_0_WinXP_x32.msi driver which also worked.
USBDM_Drivers_1_2_0_Win_x32.msi
USBDM_Drivers_1_2_0_WinXP_x32.msi
Could you right-click on the device and open the Driver Details on the Driver page?
Thanks
Hi pgo,
it cause my BDM can't work that the bdm driver setup failed in my computer.
what should i do to install the driver?
Hi pgo,
I right-clicked device and a dialog comes out.
it means that the device don't need driver files and don't load driver files.
I confirm that I installed the dirver.
