Hi pgo,
My USBDM information is as follow.
hardware:USBDM_SWD_SER_JS16CWJ_V2.0
firmware:USBDM_SWD_SER_JS16CWJ_V4
USBDM version:USBDM4.10.5
I use the BDM in win7-32bit.
First , I install the driver USBDM_Drivers_1_1_0_Win_x32.
Second I install the USBDM4.10.5.
But when I open HCS08programmer,someting wrong happened.
1, BDM can't be found
2,BDM firmware ver is 57.0.0
so,how can i resolve the question?
Hi Wang,
At a guess I would say that the firmware in the BDM doesn't match the version of USBDM you are using. There was a change in the numbering that can result in the strange result you see.
Try updating the firmware with the program provided with the version you are using.
bye
Hi pgo,
I don't update bdm firmware and just install the old driver .
my usbdm works well.
but your new driver don't make it to work.
I think the driver USBDM_Drivers_1_1_0_Win_x32 result in the result.and it can't work in win7.
Hi Wang,
I am aware of some driver issues with XP which is the reason there is a separate installer for XP. I don't know of any issues with the Windows 7 (either 32 or 64-bit).
I would appreciate if you could check if you have the same problem with the drivers just uploaded to SourceForge:
USBDM - Browse /Version 4.10.6/Software at SourceForge.net
bye
Hi Wang,
I just did a fresh install on a machine with windows 7-32bit and then installed USBDM using:
USBDM_Drivers_1_2_0_Win_x32.msi
and it worked without any problems so its a bit hard to suggest anything.
I also tried the USBDM_Drivers_1_2_0_WinXP_x32.msi driver which also worked.
USBDM_Drivers_1_2_0_Win_x32.msi
USBDM_Drivers_1_2_0_WinXP_x32.msi
Could you right-click on the device and open the Driver Details on the Driver page?
Thanks
