I have a customer who's board is going to accept different frequency grades of the Panther.  They would like to write their code such that it will recognize the part number/frequency bin and then setup the PLL for max operating frequency properly.

Looking at all potential ways to do this it seems there is not enough information.

Can the frequency bin be read from any register?  What is the value 0x50 in the MIDR2 PARTNUM register?

Hello,

As far as I know there is no such possibility.

Customer has to look at the chip package to see which derivative is it.

unfortunately what you are looking for is not possible.

best regards,

Peter
