Dear Mr./Mrs.

When I viewed datasheet, I saw that boot and calibration example using on Flash Large Block for MPC5777C. What is purpose of boot and calibration on this flash adress?

Best Regards.

Hi, it is certain use case, these blocks are not somehow special. These are just flash large block.

It is the same as blocks marked as EEPROM - these are also not EEPROM block but small flash blocks somehow suitable for EEPROM emulation.

On these device, MMU is used for remapping of address space, for calibration feature. It can be done also with other block, not only specifically with four mentioned.
