My customer will enable security feature based on their mature project. Only the SPC5748GMMJ6 ()N78S, Trace Code: 2244) has been changed to SC667691MMJ6 (0N78S, Trace Code: 1906).
Customer reported that the Machine Check exception generates at SPI[5] initialization when the HSM is enabled. The MSCR is 0008A008,.and MCAR is 0xFBFA4030.
Another puzzling problem on HSM board is that the CAN frames are not transmitted properly although written to message buffers. After online debugging, we found that the data did not correctly write the target buffer, but the offset buffer.
According to the above issue, we had push customer to:
1.) Configure PRAMCx_PRCR1[FT_DIS] to 1 before the PLL enable mode is switched.
2.) Check the Clock distribution with “AN5392” excel tool.
3.) Errata items.
Regarding Difference between Non-HSM and HSM PN, could you please help us to clarify this question? Eg.:
1.) Memory occupation
2.) How much working current will be increased for HSM module.
3.) HSM firmware for SC667691MMJ6 (0N78S, Trace Code: 1906)
4.) Other Special sequence if have.
