Hello,
I'd like to suggest a change in handling "Cancel" button during a run of the "Refreshing SDK Components" wizard.
After installing an updated SDK version, it's possible to apply the updates to existing projects that use this SDK, see "MCUXpresso IDE User Guide" , section 7.1 ("SDK Project Component Management example").
When the updates are applied to project files, differences may occur which need to be handled manually. In this case the user is asked to decide to either "Replace", "Keep existing" oder "Compare".
If the user selects "Compare", the file compare utility will open:
The issue: If the user presses "Cancel" to abort comparison, the file is silently not replaced and the update mechanism continues with the next file. That is unexpected and probably not what the user wants.
Therefore: I suggest to return to the previous state, i.e., this window, to allow the user to explicitly decide what to do with this file:
Does that make sense to you?
Best regards,
Daniel

Hi,
This sounds reasonable. We'll add it to our feature request list for a next release.

MCUXpresso IDE Support
This issue has been fixed with MCUXpresso IDE v11.7.0
Thanks!
