A month ago MCUXpresso stopped being able to launch debug sessions, it now gets stuck at "Target Discovery":
After a while I get this error message:
Redlink server console:
I am using MCUXpresso IDE v11.4.1 [Build 6260] [2021-09-15] with a LPC-Link2 debugger.
I have tried reinstalling MCUXpresso and re-flashing the debug probe but the problem keeps happening. Note that this problem happens regardless if I have any debug probe connected to the PC or not.
Thanks

Hello,
How about delete the folder of .metadata under MCUXpresso IDE workspace, then use a simple project to debug.

I just solved this problem.
1.check the firewall and secure software on your PC, allow redlinkserv and mcuxpresso(just like other answers mentioned)
2.try to use VPN, maybe your request was banned by your country's firewall
This works for me, hope it can help you.
Windows defender's configration
Check your firewall and/or AV software. It looks like the IDE is being blocked from communicating with the debugger.
Sorry I forgot to mention that I disabled both the AV software and firewall, which already had exclusions set or MCUXpresso and redlinkserv. I used to be able to debug without issues just with the exclusions.

Hi,
I have deleted the .metadata folder, re-added my .launch file and the debug session started normally.
Thank you!
