The packet loss of specific frame size seems on LS1046ARDB.

Hello,

We purchase LS1046ARDB and are evaluating the device performance.
Especially, IPsec performance is important for us.

We see a packet loss on the following conditions.
 1) number of IPsec tunnels
  ==> more than 800 IPsec tunnels
 2) frame size
  ==> 74, 1024 and 1280 bytes.
      (When packet sizes are 128, 256 and 512, we don't see packet loss.)

Is the packet loss seen on the similar conditions?

Hello NXP team,

We did the same test using LS1046ARDB with "lsdk1709-update-103017".
In this case, packets loss seems not to be generated.
So, we withdraw this ticket.

Hello NXP team,

From further investigation, in case of low throughput (/ low rates), packets loss may be occurring.
(We guess that low throughput is about 100Mbps.)

We checked whether the following change would relate to this phenomenon.
 (1) CPU clock is changed into 800MHz.
 (2) CONFIG_CPU_IDLE is disable

It seems that these changes don't affect this problem.
Could you teach whether the report similar to this packet loss was received?

In the meantime,
We see this packet loss on LS1046ARDB + SDK.
We think that we will try by Layerscape-SDK instead of Linux-SDK.
If NXP has recommended L-SDK (or SDK), please let me know.
