NAND Flash with LPC55S16

Hi, Can we interface NAND Flash with LPC55S16? If yes, what is the maximum memory size that can be interfaced? Also, what's the alternate for NAND flash which is compatible with LPC55S16? There is no info available regarding this in datasheet or RM. Thanks in advance!!

Hello @nxf64834,

The LPC55s16 doesn't have an external memory controller or SPIFI interface so the only memories supported will be the ones using SPI/I2C interface.

For NOR flash using SPI, is there any maximum memory size limit that can be interfaced with LPC?

As per my understanding, external memory flash address are not mapped to microcontroller so there should be no size limit.

That's right, this will depend on the memory and how to commands are implemented.
