Hi all
I am using a KV31F512VLL12 FRDM Board MCU for my project. I have a doubt in the power section of the schematic file. In the image attached the jumper pin J18 is under DNP and the shorting resistor R61 is also DNP. And for this jumper alone they have not mentioned any note of shorting header on bottom layer. And in the EVAL Board which I have the J18 Jumper pin is not shorted. So the output of this voltage regulator must be applied to 2nd pin of J18 and since the jumper is not shorted P3V3_SDA must be floating. But the point that I see is EVAL Board while measuring voltage between 2nd pin of J18 & Gnd the value the multimeter reads is 3.29V and the voltage between 1st pin of J18 & Gnd the value the multimeter reads is 3.29V. Basically somehow there is a voltage around 3.3V at P3V3_SDA Net. But while checking connectivity in the EVM Board there is no such short between 1st and 2nd pin of J18. While there exists a short between 1st and 2nd pin of J19 and J20 as mentioned in the schematics.
My all doubt is if the short is not there between 1st and 2nd pin of J18 how is the voltage 3.29V appearing in the 1st pin of J18 Jumper. And without this voltage appearing the OPENSDA Chip cant work. So this is obvious that it must be shorted. But in the EVAL Board and Schematics it appears as if it is not shorted. But the Voltage appears as expected while measuring alone.
Please help me sort this issue out. Am I making any mistake in understanding this power section?
Please do not hesitate to ask again if you are not able to understand the question.

Hello @SANGEERTH-P!
The 3.3V measurement on Pin 1 of J18 Jumper comes from the VOUT33 of the MK20.
I hope this answers your question. Do let me know if you require further information.
Best regards,
Edwin.
