I've used to have KinetisFlashTool on my old PC and I am now failing to download it while installing toolchain on a new device. My end goal is to flash my compiled binary into my chip via UART on Windows.
All the URLs seem to end up at MCUExpresso IDE and SDK builder. I am trying to build SDK, I see "software component" mcu-boot which seems to require USB stack which my MKE16F512 does not have which seems to prevent me from getting mcu-boot. That's even if mcu-boot has anything to do with KinetisFlashTool.
I am very confused :smileysad:
Hi andrey Belomutskiy,
Sorry for the inconvenience we bring you!
The MKE16F512 is not in the support list of mcu-boot at the moment. So you can not select and add it during build SDK.
Best Regards,
Robin
