Hi ,
I have 2 frdm k64 development boards and I am trying to use CAN bus for making communication happen between the boards. For this I tried flexcan_loopback example in MCUXpressoIDE_10.2.1_795. In the readme part it I saw that PTB16 and PTB17 are to be connected. I couldnt find the pins PTB16 and PTB17 in the board. Can I know from where the output of those pins## taken. Thank You.
If you want to use CAN bus for making communication happen between the FRDM-K64F boards, CAN Transceiver is needed.
There is flexcan interrupt_transfer example in SDK_2.5.0 of twrk64f120m.
You can see this example need Two TWR-SER boards in readme file.(The CAN Transceiver is on TWR-SER board)
Best Regards,
Robin

is there any way i can connect one of the boards to PC via CAN-USB Convertor?
do we have any CANBUS based serial terminal so that transmit data and check data received from one Board?
Thanks,
Vimal
Thanks Mark Butcher,
This will really help me a lot.
but i feel like Komodo CAN-BUS is too costly.is there any similar product in low cost??
Hi
There are many such analysers available if you do a search, although you will need to check out what features you need and what they offer. See for example:

Hi
There are no FlexCAN signals on PTB16 and PTB17 on the K64. Perhaps you need to interpolate the documentation to match your device(?)
