Dear Sir, I find the KV5X really interesting but I believe the exclusion of USB is really sad. When is it planned to be added ?
Regards
Carl Troili
Hi Carl.
Try to google "Kinetis KV6x".
Ari.
What is KV6x?
I found some old documentation on the Freescale site (2014) [http://cache.freescale.com/files/training/doc/dwf/DWF14_APF_IND_T0459.pdf ] but it seems obsolete: it says that KV58x uses Cortex-M4, but we all know that Cortex-M7 is used.
Perhaps there were future plans for Freescale that were now abandoned by NXP?
Andrea.
Andrea,
This is more recent (2017) and from NXP:

Ari.
Very interesting.
Unfortunately this brochure does not explain the features of this KV6x, there is no list of peripherals and even the maximum clock frequency data. Does anyone have any more news about it?
Andrea.
Hi Carl Troili
At the moment there is not plan to add USB module to Kinetis KV family. Sorry for the inconveniences that this may cause you.
Best Regards
