I have applied for the BETA download but it is not available at the moment. 

I will have a look when it is available.

PS> You could try USBDM+Eclipse+GNU Tools for an alternative  This works on Linux + Windows.

In this case you have to ask to USBDM developers, at this moment they have not mentioned nothing regard KDS support but as long as Kinetis devices use the same debugger interfaces (does not matter if you are using CodeWarrior or KDS) I hope USBDM will support KDS soon.
