Hello,
I am trying to erase the FMU board that came on the HoverGames3 kit and I am getting issues of protected device and J-Link or J-Flash both fails.
The original post is here
Trying with J-Flash also fails as shown in the attachment .Segger can read the whole device no problem and comms seems ok.
I am using J-Link PLUS with J-Flash as the little mini edu thing won't have the license to use with it.
What could be wrong?
Summary - Normally for the FMU there is a bootloader file written to 0x0000 and then a program file at 0x6000. It is believed that the program file was accidentally written to 0x6000 AND that this particular compilation did coincidentally have the security bits flashed.
The unlocking may not have worked in this instance:

Hello,
have you tried flashing the firmware using the QGroundControl Software (Firmware - NXP HoverGames (gitbook.io)) ?
I also built the Bootloader myself following this part of our documentation: Building the bootloader - NXP HoverGames (gitbook.io)
Might I also invite you to come join the Hackster Discord Server, where many of the discussions around HoverGames are taking place: https://discord.gg/3bcCEYTFz7
