We are using this device since about 10 years. Now we get devices back from our customers where 2 bytes in the flash are no longer correct. Until now it is about 1 in 100 devices that shows this behaviour.Any ideas how bytes in flash can get erased ? The software in our devices has not been chnaged for years so we do not think that our software is the cause of this problem.
Hello Franze
Could you please contact your distributor to request a quality incident? Thank you very much!

We are in a similar situation; same device where certain units show memory corruption after an apparently random time in operation. Cells go from erased to programmed state, and some memory locations more often than others. We have seen it in Program Flash, Boot Flash and Data Flash areas.
David and Franz,
Do you have an FAE (Field Application Engineer) you can work with?
Also, any details about how the devices are programmed, and what conditions they are exposed to in use might be useful.
