Problem getting LS1043ardb (reference design board) to work with the CodeWarrior TAP

My 1043ardb and TAP hardware are good but I'm having trouble with the CW development suite for ARM v8 64-bit CPU. I downloaded the CW IDE for ARMv8 64 bit since the web page showed that it supports the LS1043a (Looks like ARMv7 version corresponds to LS1021A so I did not get that). Then I ran cwide and it brings up the main window. I selected File -> New -> CodeWarrior Bareboard Project Wizard. I gave it a name and pressed Next. It asked to pick a Processor and I did not see the LS1043A listed. All I saw was LS2045A_AIOP, LS2085A_AIOP and one more. Is the LS1043 not suported yet ? What version of CW should I install ? The current version is 10.1.1. The installed created a directory /opt/Freescale/CW4NET_v2015.08. The release notes say the version is CodeWarrior Development Studio Advanced Packet Processing v10.1.1. This is the eval version of the CW software.

Please download and install "CodeWarrior Development Software for ARM® v8 64-bit based QorIQ LS-Series Processors" from CodeWarrior ARMv8 64 bit |NXP , CodeWarrior for ARMv8 11.1.1.

After install CodeWarrior, please refer to the section "3.2 Working with bareboard application" in C:\Freescale\CW4NET_v2015.08\CW_ARMv8\ARMv8\Help\Getting_Started_for_CW_ARMv8.pdf to setup CodeWarrior project.

Hello Yiping Wang,

We are developing using the LS208A RDB board.

We had installed the CW for advanced packet processing v10.1.1 as recommended from NXP support site.

We have encountered also problems to connect to the CWTAP. (Getting error: CCS last error: CC config string is invalid).

What seems to be the problem ?

Do we also need to install the CodeWarrior for ARMv8 11.1.1 ? Will it support the AIOP debug with the CWTAP ?
