I'm using Codewarrior v3.1 for development on 9S08GB32 processors. For debugging, I use a P&E USB MULTILINK. The IDE version is 5.6.1.1506.

At some point, I downloaded service packs (SPs) and have them installed, such as "Codewarrior Development Studio for HC(S)08 3.1 Service Pack FSICEBASE 3, build 5132" and a second of these that shows up in the "Installed Products" dialog as "Codewarrior Development Studio for HC(S)08 3.1 Service Pack FSICEBASE (version 2), build 51..."

I need to free some space on my PC and when I look at the Add/Remove programs dialog, I see two entries called "Codewarrior for HC08 V3.1 FSICEBASE SP", one occupying 454MB and the second occupying 449MB.

Q: Can I remove these in the Add/Remove dialog since I don't have the FSICE Base Station, without adversely affecting the operation of the IDE or P&E interface?

I sure could use that gig free...

Hello

You should be able to remove the service packs from your PC.
Please note that you will not save 1Gb of memory on your disk but 500Mb.

The two FSICEBASE service packs are installing same files in the same location on your host.

I never tried to remove a service pack separately from a main installation. If you are experiencing troubles afterward you may have to do a repair on your CW V3.1 installation.
But this should not happen.
