I am using CW 10.6 for 9S08. I have not added any program code yet, but am defining peripherals with Processor Expert. Mostly it's going OK, but when I hit Project Build All, I get errors for the keyboard ISRs. Specifically, "ERROR: Unexpected status of script: Drivers\HCS08\KBI.ts2. please contact Freescale support."
I have two identical error messages, but I am using both keyboard modules, so that isn't unexpected.
My guess is that the "unexpected status" is that the file doesn't exist, as the whole path does not exist. Still, what does it mean, and what do I do about it?
Hello Gary,
I got the same Failure when using PE for Kinetis on 10.6 and PE 10.4.
Do you figure it out?
I have tried reinstalling CW 10.6 and PE 10.4 and same results.
I have created new project with PE support and same results.
It was working great with 10.5 and PE 10.4 but now with 10.6 I can't get it to work.
As you can see I just got the CPU component and fails.
I have tried all my projects from 10.5 and they also fail.
I just figure out the issue.
It turns out that since I had installed kinetis Studio on my computer
and opened my workspace that I have been using with CW 10.5 and CW 10.6 along with PE 10.4 suite,
Kinetis Studio change the PE preferences to use the PE from SDK.
So, when I went back to open the same workspace on CW 10.6 the scripts from SDK are not compatible with scripts on PE 10.4 Suite.
This is what was causing the issue.
So I let CW 10.6 to use default preferences for PE and that fixed my issue.
I hope this can help some one else.
Hello,
I use Codewarrior 10.6 with Freedom FRDM-KE02Z4 board and MKE02Z64VQH2 CPU on board.
I add KBI1/KBI0 component for specfic pin to my project but when I want to add a pin, I will get the message "ERROR: Target processor does not contain peripheral of this type".
Why?
Please check the image attachmed
Thank you,
Siamack
Dear Siamack,
Don't think your question is really linked to this old question.
I recommend you to create a new issue.
Have a great day,
Pascal

Hi Gary,
I couldn't reproduce your problem with CW10.6.
can you reproduce the same on another computer?
if the problem only exists on your specific computer, I suggest you reinstall your CW then test the same again.
Best Regards,
Zhang Jun
I installed it on another computer, and it does exactly the same thing.
Hi Gary,
Based on my MCU V10.6 installation I've created an example for S08PT60.
For this device I've added the KBI bean.
I can build Processor Expert code and the project without problem.
Attached you will find the example used.
Can you please check it ?
To investigate the problem we need an example reproducing the behavior.
Have a great day,
Pascal
