unable to debug....

hi...

i'm new to DSP56800 chip...

i'm checking the examples in the softwares...

in that if i'm creating the project by DSP56800X EABI stationery....

i'm viewing the code, compiling and linking.....but i'm unable to debug...

i'm getting the error like " CCSprotocolplugin : unknown protocol error"

is there any need of connecting Hardware for checking the output.........and is there any need of installing any plugins for getting the output...

so what i have to do...

please help me as fast as possible.....

The Quick Start Guides that accompany the software usually give you information on connecting the target board to the computer. Also, you need to go to the project's settings panels (type Alt+F7) in the IDE to display the settings panels. Check the debugger settings panels (there are several) to see that the debugger communications is configured proerly.
