I tried to install the CW Special Edition on Windows XP 64 bit, but it aborted saying that it can only install on Win 2000, XP or Vista. I tried setting the Compatability Mode of the file CW_MCU_V6_2_SE_11262008.exe to Win XP, but I got the same result.

Mike,

 

Check down the thread list a ways for a solution involving installation of virtual machine software. CW and XP/VISTA 64-bit are not compatible WEO.

I am currently running VMWare for just about everything we use.
